suzanne pontey creative director
Suzanne Pontey was the only kid in year 7 to go under the hurdles... she gave up her Olympic dream to bring sport to the masses via television and other useful tools of communication.
From Australia to the UK, from Sky Channel to Channel Ten, Nine and Seven, FOXTEL and FOX SPORTS, for over 20 years she has been the driving force behind bringing a staggering number of brands to life. The first female Creative Director for the FOX SPORTS group of channels, Suz is a local and international multi award winner with an eye for innovation.
A passionate advocate of the “WHY NOT?” principle, she broadened her playing field in 2010 by founding THE STADIUM. Australia’s first 100% Sports Creative Company.... why not.
She believes loving what you do, along with being inspired by who you work with, is what it's all about. She loves people and a lot of people love sport... so hasn’t that all worked out nicely.

From 7 Sportsworld to FOX SPORTS to Creative Director of ONE HD - in a career spanning 20 years Rob has made Sports Media his business and has garnered a near peerless understanding of it. He's gained wide acclaim both in Australia and Internationally for his work collecting impressive swag of awards along the way.
He lives and breathes sport to a fault, he has played every major code in the country at a competition level including Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football, AFL, Basketball and Cricket.
An accomplished coach, he has multiple Rugby Premierships to his name and is a Balmain Tigers Centenary Medalist for services to the club including leading the successful campaign to save Leichhardt oval.
But all said and done, it's as a fan of sport that his true understanding comes: He's had his heart ripped from his chest in the stands and he's been lifted beyond euphoria by his team.
REBECCA BIRCH BUSINESS DIRECTOR
Rebecca Birch (BBus, Juris Doctor) is a high energy, exceptionally motivated Business Executive with proven success in high profile media organisations. Passionate about sports and media, she successfully managed the business launch of ONEHD and project management of world class sporting events including the Rugby World Cup and Commonwealth Games for Network Ten and ONE HD. Rebecca is well regarded as one of the best problem solvers in the business and has a unique understanding of sports rights holders, broadcasters and their sponsors.
Rebecca believes there is a great sporting quote for every moment and she describes her move to THE STADIUM as inspired. "To succeed...You need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you" and what could be more inspiring than combining with Australia’s leading sports creative directors to bring sport to the masses through the STADIUM.
So which quote best describes the STADIUM? Rebecca likes the words of Jerry Rice: "I feel like I'm the best, but you're not going to get me to say that." Actually…you probably will get us to say that!
